  1. January, 1945, with the Red Army advancing on Berlin,
  2. General Zukhov's armies attempt to smash the last remaining
  3. German forces and encircle the city.  The Wehrmacht places 
  4. it's forces over looking Seelowe, Germany and awaits for the Red Army.
  5. The German resistance is extremely strong, despite the massive
  6. artillery barrages.  The Soviets advance upon the ridge overlooking the town.
  7. It took several assaults by the Red Army until the Germans withdrew
  8. but not until inflicting heavy casualties upon the armored columns.  This is the
  9. first day of the Soviet advance across the river, and the Germans
  10. have regrouped behind a new defensive perimeter.
